Mr. Nurmela is an author & freelance writer who has real-world experience in subjects he writes about. As an entrepreneur for over 20 years he has founded companies in both the for-profit and non-profit industries. He has built companies from ground level to multi-million dollar organizations.

Prior to his senior executive experience overseeing both medical and computer related corporations he was a surgical technician for 15 years and a computer technician for 5 years in the United States Air Force. His bachelor and master degree work is in Leadership and Organizational Studies from Azusa Pacific University. He is also a doctrinal candidate in business administration with emphasis in entrepreneurship with Walden University.

Denis has vast experience online as well. He navigated the internet before the mouse was invented using UNIX commands and in 1996 founded a non-profit organization, Daily Words of Wisdom, which is dedicated to sending inspirational messages to thousands around the world every day in many languages. He also founded The Association for Gifted Youth.

Denis has been an active member of Vistage, the world’s largest CEO membership organization. He is sought after as a business consultant, speaker, and is a freelance writer for a variety of business associations.
